Tangled fragments - as a background stamp (by Maria)

Hey stamping lovers, here I am again with some more samples using the gorgeous Tangled Fragments stamps! Here I used these stamps to give some beautiful background accents to my flower cards, great isn't it?

For my first card I made some curtains with the fragment stamps, it looks like the flowers stand in the
middle of the stage and I think the fragments stamps give a beautiful accent to them like this. I used pan pastels Rich Gold to create the curtains.

On the second card I put the fragments stamp in the corners and on the circle border, again they give some accents to show the flowers, don't they? Here, I just used some golden embossing powder to give the accents. Both of my cards are made with dylusions inks, the flower stamps are from the Poppy Meadow and Pretty Poppies stamp sets. I hope you like my samples and that you try some of the stamps too!

Greetings
Maria

  10. Two gorgeously vibrant cards and the poppies are the perfect stamps to use. The fragment you have used in various parts of the background works beautifully, and I love the circular frame on the second card cut from a piece of inked up background, and then the extra poppy flower heads you have used so they rest on the frame. x

  12. Maria, these are really beautiful cards. I love the vibrant colours you have chosen and those poppies work so well with the fragment dies. I love the embossed circle on the second card, what a brilliant idea to frame your main image in such an original way. Elaine

  13. Your first card is my favourite with the poppies taking centre stage between your 'curtains' - a really super use of those fragment stamps. The colours of the poppy heads are delightful against the vivid greens. Your second card is eye-catching too - the way those poppy heads extend beyone the outer circle layer really adds super dimensional depth & I particularly like the fiery 'glowing' background of the inner circle.
