Wonderful Brusho (by Maria)

Hello stampers!

Today I will show you some more samples made with the beautiful flowers of the Sketchy Doodle Flowers stamp set on a Brusho background. I hope you like them, they really were fun to make!

I put a tiny quantity of yellow and green grains of Brusho on my smooth white paper and sprayed some water on it, the background looks just fine. I stamped my butterflies, my flower and branch with Versafine Onyx Black ink on my background. On a plate I took some grains of yellow Brusho and sprayed some water on it, which creates some Brusho paint to paint the yellow parts on the butterflies and the flowers.  I used some green to create a new paint, etc.
This background is made the same way as my first one, but I used some blue and yellow Brusho crystals. The butterflies are painted with blue Brusho and the branch is cut out of brown cardstock paper with a branch die. The flowers are stamped on a paper coloured with Brusho and cut out. The leaves are cut out of a branch stamped on a green coloured paper and glued to the cardstock branch. Here and there I added some accents with my white gelly pen.

Do you like my samples? I hope that you try to make some Brusho cards too.

Have nice and creative week, enjoy!

Greetings,
Maria

  1. Leuke kaarten en mooie achtergronden. Beide vind ik mooi maar bij de tweede spingt de groen - blauw combinatie in het oog en die vind ik erg mooi. Groetjes Janny

  3. It's that first one that catches my eye particularly - fascinating to see the difference in using the Brushos as paint - it looks super using the same colours but giving a different vibrancy to the images, I especially like the branch in your top right & that butterfly bottom left & the sentiment has the perfect font to suit.
Your brown branch & the green leaves die cut from cardstock give a different texture/feel to the composition & I like the way they've added some physical dimension to the design. It's always fascinating see what hello & blue produce in terms of green & the background shows that beautifully.

  4. Lovely work with the brushos. You make them look so appealing and easy to work with, which I'm sure they're not. Love the colour schemes on both cards.
