I love Christmas (by Zoe)

Good Morning Lovelies. I hope you're all enjoying the warm sunny weather? it seems a little strange posting Christmas themed projects whilst it's so warm but hey ho!

I used a wooden heart I had in my stash and a greyboard heart from the website. I started by spraying spray inks generously onto the wooden heart, I had to put on a fair amount of layers to get the vibrancy I wanted. I used the background stamp randomly to create texture and stamped my sentiment using a Versafine inkpad. On the greyboard heart, I layered Distress Oxide re-inkers and water, drying between layers. I used the tree to stamp around the edge and Versafine Ink. I then stamped the sentiment using Versafine Ink and heat embossed using clear embossing powder. I finished off with gilding wax around the edges.

I made a mask of a pear using Masking Tissue from the website. I stamped using Versafine Ink and heat embossed using gold embossing powder. I covered the first image with the mask I made and stamped the other pear using the same technique. I blended Distress Oxides and splashed a little water for some texture and dried. I used a Distress Oxide inkpad to stamp some texture on the background using the gorgeous background stamp, it's very subtle and doesn't show so well in the photo. I stamped the sentiment onto some tape.

I used a coloured parchment to stamp and heat emboss using gold embossing powder, simply cut the images out and decoupage. I used the same parchment paper for the mat and layering.

My final card is again made using coloured parchment paper, simply heat embossed using white embossing powder, a few blobs of glitter glue to highlight the snow.

Thank you so much for stopping by, I love to read your comments, have a wonderful day xx Zoe xx

  4. I love all four creations Zoe, and the wooden heart with the two sentiments and the background stamping looks great, then the pretty masked and stamped pears against that fabulous bright background, and the two using patterned parchment have worked beautifully with the richness of the red and gold, and then the crisp white embossing on the second. x
