Reindeer Luminary (posted by Judith)

Hi Folks, I have a slightly different project for you today using the Vintage Tags in the printables section. I have made a luminary using a stamp from the Reindeer Landscape stamp set, which I have stamped and embossed four times onto vellum, using white embossing powder. I coloured the reverse of the image with Splash inks. I then printed the extra large tags onto thick card, and cut an aperture into each of them, large enough for the stamped image to show through. I have used some aluminium tape to attach the tags together, which I have embossed and coloured with black paint, to give it an aged feel. I have then simply added some ribbon through a couple of punched holes in the top of the tags to form a closure.

This is what the luminary looks like when it is lit up, creating a warm glow:

The white embossing adds a very pastel feel to the whole project:

A different view (posted by Judith)

Hi Folks, I have a card to show you today using the new Reindeer Landscape stamp set. I wanted to show the versatility of these stamps, and that they can be used all year round, not just for Christmas. I have chosen to create an Autumnal card with the lovely reindeer landscape stamp, embossing it with copper embossing powder, and colouring it with Distress Markers.

I created a wrinkle free distress background, and stamped some leaves using the Sunny Sunflowers stamp set, which I coloured with pencils. Finally, I added a sentiment from the Nature's Peace stamp set.

New Winter and Christmas stamps (by Glenda)

We have one final collection of Christmas stamps for you this year, though we do like to make our stamps versatile so you will also find images that you can use for non Christmas occasions too.

Our Stamp of the Month for October is Reindeer Landscape

The reindeer image is great for making quick cards - make a stack of gelli prints or sprayed backgrounds and you can quickly whip up a batch of arty cards.  I had to put it sideways on the stamp sheet to fit it on, but here it is right way up.

Then we have two sets of edges - Christmas Edges:

and Winter Edges:

All of these stamps are on offer at introductory prices from now until the end of October and you can save even more with the Christmas-Winter Edges multi-buy too.

As always, our wonderful Design Team have been playing with these stamps for the last few weeks and I've seen what they've been up to with them - you're in for a treat!
