Summer Fair ( by Magda)
Here below you can read how I made this project :
1. Stamp Summer Fair with Versafine Onyx Black on a watercolour cardstock, twice
2. Colour the face and neck with watercolour markers and cover the image with drawing gum
3. Sprinkle your chosen Brusho colours on the stamped image, spritz with water and dry
4. Rub the drawing gum away when everything is completely dry
5. Colour the butterfly and some poppies from the second stamped image with a watercolour of diluted Brusho
6. Cut the pieces and glue them as decoupage onto the Summer Fair image
7. Assemble the card
I hope you like my colourful project.

Fifteen Minute Cards- Quick and Simple Ideas for You
The Design Team have been joined by members of the Guest Design Team yet again, providing a host of ideas for you, which will hopefully encourage you to try some of the ideas out for yourselves.
Magda has created a pretty card using the reverse of her flower to create a mask to ink around, such a clever idea.
She has then created a beautiful trio of tags, using multicoloured stamping and some of our Poppy stamps.
Lesley has created three cards by creating a larger background, and then chopping the paper to size for her cards. This is a great way of creating batch cards. She took a piece of 12" x 12" piece of scrapbook paper and roughly scraped some acrylic paint in vaying shades all over the paper with an old credit card. She then finished with a couple of rough brayered layers of paint on top. There were a few areas of the paper showing through in places.
She stencilled over the paper using white acry;ic paint.
She stamped the images with Black Archival Ink and added a sentiment.
Finally, she edged the pieces of paper with a black marker before adhering them to the card blank.
The paper goes a long way, leaving enough for a few more cards, depending on what size you choose to make.
Zoe has been busy making some mail art for you this month:
She has also created some stunning quick cards:
This card just uses a portion of a much larger stamp, clever masking of a square allows you to use the stamp in this way.
Brenda's selection of cards showcase a fabulous array of tips and techniques.
For her first card, she created a background, using brushes and Distress Inks, then spritzed the brush with water, and dragged through the sky area. She added some hills. Using a piece of torn paper and black dye ink, she then stamped the rabbits from the Glorious Spring stamp set, and repeat stamped the top section to add some grasses and added the willow from the Spring Foliage stamp set.
This is a great way to use up smaller cards, these are just 10cms by 10cms. Brenda used the corner stamp from the Butterfly Flourish Swirls stamp set and stamped four times to create a frame. She stamped a sentiment in the centre using stamps from Words of Inspiration and Pretty Poppies, and applied some soft shading with Distress Inks around the edges.
Using the crackle stamp from the Echoes of Italy stamp set, she used water based markers to ink just the centre of the stamp, spritzed with water, and repeat stamped to the left of the card. The flourish is from the Butterfly Flourish Swirls stamp set, stamped with Black Archival Ink and the sentiment is from the Words of Inspiration stamp set.
For her next card, the background has been created with brushes and a mixture of Distress Inks and dye based inkpads, using a mask of torn paper to create the hills. The focal image stamped wirh black ink is from the Indian Textiles stamp set, and the sentiment is from the Words of Inspiration stamp set.
Brenda has used Brushos to create her background on the next card, then randomly stamped the harlequin stamp from Decorative Edges using Distress Ink. She stamped one of the images from Pretty Poppies, and using bleach, took away the colour from the image. Finally, she added some lace along the bottom.
She used three colours of Brushos to create this background, and stamped a quote from Words of Inspiration. Next, she stamped an image from Butterfly Flourish Swirls onto some spare card, cut out the two butterflies and coloured them with the same colours of Brushos. She added wire antennae, and fixed them to the base card.
Dominike's lovely card uses one of our tree stamps, a gelli plate background, and a cheery sentiment, sure to brighten anyone's day:

Hello!
Here I am again. In July I will post three times a card as guest designer which I am very pleased to do. My first project is a Butterfly Card. and I used stamps from Gothic Fragments, Nature Fragments and Tangled Garden. Hope you enjoy this.
- Create a background with three colours Distress Ink and water. I used Evergreen Bough, Carved Pumpkin, Crushed Olive, Broken China. Dry with heattool.
- Stamp lace stamp from Gothic Fragments with Memento Tuxedo Black and the leaves from Nature Fragments with Memento Flannel Grey. Dry with heattool.

- Emboss the butterfly from Tangled Garden with Metallic Platinum and colour with Distress ink.
- Mat and layer background on to black and then blue card and attach butterfly.

Fair Lady of Summer (by Asha)
I stamped the image onto heavyweight cold press watercolour paper with VersaFine Onyx Black. Next I wet the paper and applied red and green water colour around the image and let dry completely before colouring the lady. To add interest to the background, I stamped the little flowers from Seasonal Fragments with VersaFine Satin Red ink. Finally I mounted the finished piece on a 6 "x 4½" top folding card.
Over the next couple of weeks you'll see more amazing projects from my team-mates; so please swing by often. Meanwhile, you can find details of tools and products used above over at my blog.
Thank you so much for stopping by.
Beijinhos,

Autumn's Smile (by Judith)
My first card uses the Autumn Medley rubber stamp to create a seasonal card. I stamped the image, and masked it before creating a leafy background, using leaves from my garden and Fossilized Amber and Rusty Hinge Distress Ink. I coloured the image with water based markers, and added extra detail with pencils afterwards. I added one of my all time favourite sentiments, taken from the Nature's Peace stamp set. I matted the background onto green card, before adding it to a black card blank.
For my second card, I have created a wrinkle free Distress background, and combined the Tangled Birch individual stamp with stamps from Patchwork Landscape and Seasonal Fragments, to create a scene. I coloured the images with water based pencils.
My last card uses the lovely Autum Medley stamp once again, and I have created a border around the image, using stamps from the Autumn Poppy stamp set. I stamped the foliage using various colours of Archival Ink, and then coloured everything with Polychromos pencils. I decoupaged some of the leaves on the main image.
Thanks for stopping by, Judith xx

tangled birch
Both these cards are on 7" square white card blanks.
For the first one I sed masking fluid to cover the trees before brushing with a mix of distress inks in blues and purples, with some wild honey for the moon.
Once it was all dry, I rubbed the masking fluid off, tore round the edges and added a black mat. I sued the same stamp to add the bbackground, using broken china ink to stamp with and to sponge the edges.

For the second card I masked the trees again before adding a sunset sky with distress inks, then coloured the trees with brown watercolour pencil.
Background card was created using spray starch and mica powders
Thanks for looking, and do keep checking to see what everyone else has done with this stamp (and the ladies!)

Autumn and Winter by Zoe
Good morning Lovelies,
Today I'm showing you my first set of samples for July using the stunning new stamps - Autumn Medley , Winter Dawn and Tangled Birch
I stamped Autumn medley onto watercolour card and coloured her in using Drawing gum, I wet the card and sprinkled with Brusho's, spritzed again with water and allowed it to run and pool, once dry I rubbed off the gum and coloured the image with Brusho's with a paintbrush, once dry I used a leaf design embossing folder on the top and bottom edges and rubbed over with a copper gilding wax.
I stamped Winter Dawn and Winter Edges using Versamark and heat embossed with a pale blue pearlised embossing powder, I blended Distress inks over the whole design trying to leave the face paler, I splattered with some water and blotted dry, added sequins and glitter pen and a die cut greeting.
A very simple Sketch pad page, stamped and coloured with drawing gum, I used a mica spray inks, rubbed off the gum, coloured areas with mica inks and voila!
And lastly, Brusho's spritzed and bubble wrap, stamped with Versafine Onyx Black Inkpad.
Thank you for your kind comments, please pop back each day and see what my very talented teamies have produced for you xx have a fantastic day xx Zoe xx

Layered Card by Shilpa
I hope you all are liking new stamps release by Chocolate Baroque... the girls stamps are always my favourite!
I created a simple layered card using Autumn Medley stamp.
First I stamped the image with Jet black Archival ink onto the watercolor paper. I chose watercolor markers for coloring. I colored the leaves with green and blue used water to spread the color and create shades. Next, I colored her face with peach and pink color and hair with brown color pens. I dried the panel. On that I adhered lace trim, flower and buttons. And finally I adhered the whole panel on the design paper..further on white card.
