Steampunk CAS Style (by Shirley)

Seasons Greetings, I hope you are enjoying a wonderful festive season.

I have a quick make to show today featuring the fabulous fantasy ship from the new Steampunk Sea World set.

I created a mask using a large cog die.    I blended Lavender Distress Ink and then using the TCW Cog stencil I blended Salty Ocean Distress ink over top.  The ship was stamped with Cobalt Archival ink, coloured with pencils and highlighted with a white pen.    Just a note is from Mackintosh Sentiments.

Wishing you a happy and creative 2015!

  5. That's a super effect with the outline of the cog mask echoing the indentations of the inked background therein, not to mention the little wheel at the base of the ship. The additional white work adds a lovely touch & catches the eye accenting the way the two banners flutter & highlighting their serrations to coincide with those of your masked area. (Hope that makes sense - it does visually.)
