Rainbow of Friendship (posted by Claire)

Hi there, my card today uses the beautiful sprig of flowers from Dusky Damask and one of the sentiments from Pretty Poppies

I've stamped the flower sprigs with different colours of distress ink to give a rainbow effect and used the same inks to colour some seam binding ribbon. The swirls are from Butterfly Flourish again stamped with distress ink pads. I used distress markers to ink up the sentiment stamp from Pretty Poppies and also the butterflies from Butterfly Flourish. The sentiment is die cut and I used tape to attach the ribbon,  pleating it as I went along. I matted the card on some rainbow card that I made with white card and distress markers and attached the butterflies with silicone glue for a bit of dimension.

Thanks for visiting and I do hope you'll keep checking back to see my team mates beautiful projects this week

Chocolate and pink Baroque Egg (by Claire)

Hi there, here's my first card with the eggstra special new stamps from Chocolate Baroque (oops i couldn't resist that lol). As soon as I saw this gorgeous egg stamp from Baroque Eggs the chocolate and strrawberry colour palette for this card popped into my mind

I've used various shades of brown mica sprays to create a background and stamped the egg with versamark before embossing with a pastel pink embossing powder. I cut the egg out and matted it on some brown card stamped with the beautiful corner stamps from Butterfly Flourish and embossed with the same pink embossing powder.

To create the background I sprayed some white card with shades of pink and brown mica sprays and stamped and embossed the smallest egg from Baroque Eggs with pale pink, deep pink and brown embossing powder.. The background is again matted on some brown card and I added some pink organza ribbon for a finishing touch

I hope you're enjoying all my teamies inspiration with the new stamps, I'm sure you'll agree we're spoilt for choice with all the beautiful new stamps this month.

Beeswax and Butterflies (posted by Judith)

Hi Folks, when I received these lovely stamps from Glenda, I had also just bought some lovely chalk inkpads too. I decided that I would like to combine the two elements in a projects, and this card came about. I created a lovely soft background using three different coloured chalk inkpads, blending them together, and then stamping some swirls from the 'Nature Swirls' set around the edges.

I then stamped the music fragment and several hearts onto some cream card and cut them out. I covered all of these with melted beeswax, and then placed the hearts into a flower shape with a brass flower embellishment. I stamped the gramophone from the 'Music Fanfare' stamp set and two butterflies from the 'Butterfly Flourish' stamp set which I cut out and coloured with pencils. I added Glossy accents to the bubbles on the gramophone image, and used a Tim Holtz swirl behind my flower to complete the card.

Keep checking back for more lovely samples from the Design Team this week, using the new stamp sets. Thanks for stopping by today, Judith xx
