Beautiful Bouquets (by Julie)

Hello, it's my turn today and I have two cards made with a couple of this months brand new individual cling mounted stamps.

My first card's main image is Harlequin Bouquet, which I have stamped with Onyx Black Versafine and then water-coloured with brush markers. The butterfly is from Honeysuckle Butterfly and the background stamps are from Harlequin Fragments and Floral Eggs. Peacock Feathers and Spiced Marmalade Distress ink was sponged over the background and the eggs were highlighted with a white pen.

My second floral card has been stamped with the brand new Floribunda Net. I have used watercolour card, which I first stamped using Onyx Black Versafine and then covered the roses with masking fluid. Once dry I spritzed the card with water and then dropped on various colours of Brushos.
After everything was dry I removed the masking fluid and coloured with a very light-grey brush marker and added a light touch of green to the leaves.

Thanks for stopping by.

Mackintosh Ovals (posted by Judith)

Hello everyone, I hope that you are enjoying the inspiration provided by my team mates this month. I have a card to show you today, using one of the images from the Floral Eggs clear stamp set, along with some older favourites of mine.

I started my card by stamping and embossing the Mackintosh style egg repeatedly onto a piece of black card, using Versamark and some platinum embossing powder. I also stamped and embossed the oval part of the central image several times onto a spare piece of black card. I mixed some blue and green Brusho powder with iridescent medium, and coloured areas of the images and left them to dry. I cut out the ovals from the spare piece of card, and stuck them to the background card inbetween the Mackintosh egg images.

I stamped the main image, from the Mackintosh Windows stamp set, onto a piece of white card, using Versafine Onyx Black ink, and embossed it using clear embossing powder. I coloured the image using watercolour pencils and a water brush. I coloured a die cut of white card with pencils and a water brush before stamping a sentiment from the Mackintosh Sentiments clear stamp set. I chose a toning green pearlescent card to mat all of the layers before assembling my card.

Thanks for stopping by, Judith xx

Floral Eggs (posted by Claire)

Good morning folks and a very Happy Easter to you! I hope you have a lovely day with lots of chocolate and of course some crafting too lol. Today's card features the gorgeous new clear stamps from  called 'Floral Eggs'. I've used this beautiful image to make a topper for my card but I think it would be a stunning pendant too.

I began with a distress ink background using Bundled Sage, Tumbled Glass and Scattered Straw distress inks and stamped the corners using one of the stamps from Spring Bird Crocus with black ink, adding faux stitching around the edges.

I stamped the image onto smooth white card using Memento Tuxedo Black ink and coloured it with my Graph'It markers. I cut the image out and triple embossed it with clear embossing powder.
I layered the image over a pretty heart shaped doily and added a little black bow.

Thanks so much for visiting today
