Double the stamping fun (by Lesley)

Today we are launching not one but two Year of Stamping stamps, November and December. The reason being that the December stamps depicts a splendid bunch of mistletoe so we reckoned that releasing it Christmas week was perhaps a touch too late!

So what can you expect from these last two stamps. Well November's offering is a wonderful collection of owls who seem to have a stranger in their midst.

I know you are going to have so much fun with this stamp and I do like Sue's humour in giving the big owl a flowery chest.

December's stamp is a gorgeous design celebrating the wonderful mistletoe plant which is tied with a very elaborate bow of ribbon. This cries out for colour and bling and the Design Team girls have come up trumps again with some wonderful festive projects.

Of course two stamps means two magazines and the final issues are filled with inspiration, offers and technique articles that will have you sitting down with several cups of tea whilst you enjoy some cracking great reads. Here are a couple of sneaky peaks of what is inside.

There's not mushroom inside! (by Lesley)

Sorry I couldn't resist using this title. It is one of the dreaful puns that appear in an old Lonnie Donnegan song entitled 'My Old Man's a Dustman'. But all joking aside the October Year of Stamping stamp is crammed full of funghi images and is aptly named Mushroom Garden.

As many people know I love mushrooms, but only as images as I'm allergic to the real thing, and when I saw this design from Sue I was thrilled to bits. The Design Team have come up with some wonderful ideas on how to use your mushroom stamp and the online magazine is jammed full of their step by step projects and fabulous full colour photos.

I have written an article about Stampbord and Judith has made two extra projects which are featured on this week's Shop Blog. So there really is an enormous amount of inspiration around this month.

A Year of Stamping - September issue (by Lesley)

It is getting very Autumnal isn't it, far too early in my book, but how about celebrating the oncoming of this season with the latest release in our Year of Stamping project club.

Our September stamp is called Poppy Seedheads and is a wonderful representation of a field of poppies after their petals have blown away in the wind. The Design Team have had a wonderful time making some fantastic projects for you and this month's issue of the magazine is crammed full of colourful ideas.  We also welcome the first magazine projects from our new Design Team ladies and I have written a technique article all about monochrome colouring.

A Year of Stamping - August issue (by Lesley)

I hope you are enjoying our Year of Stamping series and if you are unsure what this is all about, please follow this link to get all the information about our year long project club.

Today sees the launch of the eighth stamp which is a wonderful collection of seashells at the bottom of the sea.  It is a wonderful complement to last month's Fishes stamp and it excellent for colourists and decoupage fans alike. Each AYOS stamp comes cut out and ready mounted on cling-a-ling so that you can start stamping straight from the packet.

Once you have purchased the stamp you will receive an email which contains a link to the online magazine that is packed with some really colourful and unusual projects.  All with step by step instructions and full colour photographs this issue also has an in-depth technique article from Glenda, hints and tips from our talented Design Team plus a selection of exclusive offers.
