dreamy homes (by Veronica)
The Luv shack is the first one, stamped onto a distress ink background using black versafine ink, and again onto white card. The image on white card was coloured with pencils, then the main part of the house was cut out. I added colour to the hedge, balcony ,chimney and stepladder on the distress background before gluing the coloured house onto the background. The sentiment from Italian House was stamped in black on white card, cut out and edged with black pen.
The Urban Chic house was stamped at the bottom left and the Bottle and Jug at the top right - both left uncoloured as if through a mist.
The word letters were cut from gold metallic card and glued diagonally across the card.

Introducing New Guest Design Team Member Tracy Thompson
Hello everyone, I would like to introduce you to another of our new Guest Design Team members, Tracy Thompson. She is joining us this month and will be sharing three posts to inspire you. We asked Tracy to tell us a little bit about herself and to add a photograph. Here is what Tracy had to say:
I have a lovely hubby John of 24 years and I'm Mum of three gorgeous children, Scott (who would be 25 (who has sadly passed away on 6th July 2018), Jodie 22 and Bobby 15. We have four cats and three dogs, all so adorable. I started crafting in 2008 and started my blog in 2009. I just love rubber stamping and getting inky so much, and I love blogging so much because every time I log on I'm inspired by so many talented crafters. I am at present part of three lovely design teams, Stamping Sensations, We Love Chocolate Baroque and Allsorts. Now gratefully on the GDT for Chocolate Baroque, there's no bigger buzz than seeing your creations on the television.
Thank you Tracy x
This is my first post for the Team and a creation from my first TV show from last month May. I started by creating a background paper using Distress Oxides for the base of a gift bag. I then stamped my image, Italian House, I coloured it with Distress Inks. I added some trees from the Orchard Design a Tree stamps, and with Versafine Clair I added some blossom which comes with the tree stamps. I finished the scene with some grass and sky.
Hope to see you later in the month when I will be showing another creation from the show.
Happy crafting
Tracy x

Bookmark Houses
Hello. I'm sharing some of my samples from the May shows on The Craft Store.
These cards feature stamps from the Bookmark range of stamps
For this card I used some alcohol inks applied with a felt applicator onto some silk art board. I used shades of blue and purple with some gold. When it was dry I used my stamping platform to stamp the Turret House in Black Versafine. Whilst the ink was wet I added some embossing powder. I left the stamp in place on my platform and coloured the turrets in gold paint. The paint covered the embossed areas, so I put the card back into the stamping platform and was able to stamp and emboss again. I added a sentiment from Life is So Much Better, a layer of gold card and attached to a 8x8 card base.
For this card I used two shades of yellow Distress Ink and a Sunshine stencil for my background. I added a little bit of green ink to the bottom of the card. I stamped the larger of the two trees from Design a Tree –Orchard and added flowers in pink ink.
I stamped the house onto some smooth cardstock with Memento ink and coloured with alcohol markers and then cut it out. I then used some foam pads to fix the house onto the card base.
For this card I used a design paper from a pad that had an old style map on it.
I stamped the Bridge House in the lower corner and embossed the image. I extended the hills and river part of the stamp to fill the base of the card and then coloured with watercolour inks. I added a sentiment from the set.
I used Distress Oxides for my background on this card. I stamped the House in Versafine and then masked it before stamping the tree. I added flowers to the tree in shades of pink and coloured the house with watercolour pencils.
Thanks for looking

Bold and Beautiful Houses (by Judith)
Hello everyone, I hope that you are all keeping well and that you have been enjoying some better weather. I have a few projects to share with you over the next few weeks that will hopefully make you think of sunnier days, the colours are certainly bright and cheerful!
My first card was made using one of the bookmark style houses featured on last month's TV shows on The Craft Store, Turret House. This has a fairytale castle feel, with Russian elements in the rooftops. I have coloured the building in bright colours to match my background, which was created with Brushos. I placed a stencil over the top and added some Distress Ink. I used the Orchard Design A Tree stamp set, to create a forest around the building.
I will be back soon with more projects to share with you.
Do look out for some of our new Guest Design Team members coming up this month. I know that they are very excited to share their projects with you.
Thanks for stopping by, and take care.
Judith xx

Stylised Houses
I am sharing some of the cards I made for the August show on Hochanda with the Bookmark Stylised House Collection.
My first card features the Turret House stamps.
I stamped and embossed with white embossing powder. I coloured on kraft card with soft pastels in rainbow colours to match the sentiment. I also added some gold to the turrets. The backgroud is sprinkled with Brushos.
The last card I am sharing today I used all the house stamps from the collection and did a lot of masking! I think these stamps really lend themselves to scene building.
Thanks for looking, I'll be back soon with some more cards to share.

Sentiments and Midnight Tags- (by Magda)
Hello everyone,
The sentiments, you can find on the new stamp of Chocolate Baroque "Turret House", inspired my journaling page for this month as well as 3 Tags.
For my page I used : white gesso, Distress Paint acrylic colours, drawing pencil, Archival Ink Jet Black, Turret House stamp and Fantasy Castles stamp. The Turret House stamp and decoupage are colored with Faber Castel Art Grip Aquarelle pencils
The three new houses stamps. Dutch House, Bridge House, and Italian House reflect their lights through the sentiments in the dark night. To make this trilogy I used besides the house stamps, black tags, Versamark Ink Pad, Mica, Archival Ink Jet Black, Brusho, Glitter and a ribbon.
