Spring Fairy and Flowers (posted by Shirley)

Hello everyone, I hope you are enjoying the weekend.

I have a design today using the gorgeous new Spring Fairy Collection.

The background is a sheet that I printed from the beautiful Leafy Brocade Printable Papers.   The  May Fairy was stamped on water colour paper with Cobalt Archival ink, coloured with Tom Bow markers and cut out.   I added holograph glitter to parts of her dress.  I coloured the die cut flowers with Distress Inks.

Dies:  Crealie Creative Flowers CL CF 20 & CL CF 19 and Memory Box - Pierson Corner.

Thanks for your visit and have a great week,
Shirley

Indian inspired jewellery box (posted by Judith)

Hi Folks, here's another sample using the Indian Textiles rubber stamp sheet, and the Indian Elephant rubber stamp sheet.

I have covered a 6" x 6" box with panels of card which I coloured with Distress Ink and then stamped with various designs from the stamp sheets, using Cobalt Archival Ink. The top section of the box is a large piece of Stampbord, which I have coloured with inks as before, and then used the Leafy Brocade Big Bold Background stamp.

I then took a piece of mountboard cut into the shape of an oval, and covered it with UTEE before stamping into it with another Indian stamp.

Keep checking back fror more great samples from my Team mates, thanks for stopping by, Judith xx

Leafy Brocade and some recycling (posted by Claire)

Good morning everyone, Claire here with a project featuring one of the beautiful new Big Bold Bacnkground stamps, Leafy Brocade and some recycling

I began by dry brushing gold paint on some corrugated cardboard. My next layer was created by stamping the Leafy Brocade stamp on acetate with black stazon and layering that up over some textured card coloured with the scrummy paints from the Vintaj Patina 'Weathered Copper' set and attaching with some brads.

The large flower was made by cutting open a pop can and die cutting the metal with my tattered florals die, I used the same paints to colour the metal and the button in the centre. I also stamped with the gorgeous Leafy brocade background stamp. I curled the petals and layered them up over a flower i'd cut from a scrap of black funky foam. This was the first time I'd made one of these flowers and although the metal is very sharp when you cut the can, its not too bad once it has been die cut. I've added some ribbon and lace from my stash and a couple of flourishes, die cut with a Dienamics Flourish die. Here's another pic to show the dimension of the flower:

I used ranger memo pins glued into the top of the wall hanging and some chain from my stash to create the hanger

I hope you're enjoying the new stamps, as you can see I had a lot of fun with them
Thanks for visiting today
Claire xx
