I don't need much of an excuse to use the fab perforated postage papers from Chocolate Baroque and had to use some with this elegant fob watch stamp from Punky Romance themeplate. Its so easy to create the faux postage effect, especially with the Ultra Fine Masking Tape
The watch is stamped and embossed with gold EP and distressed with Vintage Photo Distress ink before removing the masking tape. The postmark stamp is from the Mail Art stampsheet.
The background is made with the same watch stamp, using metallic gold ink on vellum. I've used gold mirri card to mat and layer and attached the vellum with eyelets and a scrap of gold ribbon
I think this stamp will be perfect for retirement cards
Thanks for visiting today,

A beautiful card Claire. I love the stamp effect and as you say it would be just perfect for a retirement.

ReplyDeleteThis is fab - I do like the faux postage effect
ReplyDeleteGreat card Claire, love the colours. Suexxx
ReplyDeleteA lovely touch with the vellum matted onto the Mirri & that stunning ribbon keeping the gold theme. I am going to have to have a go at mail art - it's something that really appeals to me.
ReplyDeleteThe aged Monochrome effect is so good too & utterly in keeping with the design.
