Purple Honeysuckle (by Debbie)

This is my first sample from the Fragment Honeysuckle stamps set. I instantly fell in love with this image as it reminded me of my parents garden. Honeysuckle covered the fence at the bottom of the garden.
I hadn't used my watercolour pencils for quite a long time and I'd forgotten how much I enjoyed using them.

I know that purple isn't the usual colour of Honeysuckle but I think it works well.

There are more beautiful cards to come from the Design Team so stop by again.

  1. Beautiful Debbie and very delicate funny how flowers can remind us if things isn't it, Honeysuckle always reminds me of my Granny and I have a honeysuckle that I grew from a cutting I took from her garden. Suexxx

  3. It works superbly well & I love the whole softness of it. I think the beauty of CB floral stamps is that the imagination can run along with whatever colour combination it wishes & there is still a very real look to it - fantasy & CB - perhaps that should be Fantastic Chocolate Baroque........

  4. Who says honeysuckle can't be lilac - artist's licence and all that! This is so delicate - love it and yes CB is fantastic especially the stamps.

  6. A beautiful card Debbie. I love the colours you've used and I'm sure that one one day someone will create a lilac coloured honeysuckle.
