Good morning.
Today I have a quick make background for my beautiful bird to sit against.
I used the North Star stencil made by Crafters Workshop with Tumbled Glass distress ink. The edges of the card scratched to roughen them and more tumbled glass added. I recently bought the Butterfly paper pad 8x8 and cut strips then edged them for definition. The paper strips were placed in the left corner and I added the sentiment to the top right to balance the card. The bird is from the AS Free as a Bird stamps and I coloured with watercolour pencils then cut away some of the foliage to make it smaller.
Thanks for visiting
Debbie
Gorgeous Debs!
ReplyDeleteGreat card Debbie. I am sure we all have loads of paper pads that would lend themselves into cutting strips. The stencil work gives a smashing soft background too. A really nice layout. Elaine x

The stencilled stars and then the pretty strips of floral paper work beautifully Debbie, and the bird with the flowers image sits so prettily on top. I love the distressed edges too. x
