Spring Time (by Julie)

Hello and welcome. Today I have a couple of cards to share that I have created from the wonderful Spring theme stamps that Chocolate Baroque are featuring this month.

My first card is stamped with Spring Bird Crocus and coloured with Pan Pastels. I have stamped the circular designs with the little decorative stamp that I have inked with a teal Memento ink. I have to confess to having a bit of help from my Inkadinkadoo stamping gear to help position the circular design but if you were to draw a circle with a pencil for a guide you could achieve a similar design. The crocus were stamped with Versamark ink and then I dusted over pink and green Pan Pastel.
The white highlights and dots were created with a Derwent battery erasure.
The card was finished off with Happy Birthday from Words to Dazzle being stamped on and die and mounted onto the card with foam pads.

My second card is made with Breath of Spring and again I had some help with my Inkadinkadoo stamping gear, but if you would like a similar effect then just have a practice with a pencil drawn circle.
The base card has been coloured with Worn Lipstick Distress ink and the sentiments are from Words to Dazzle and Harlequin Rose.

Thank you for stopping by and hope to see you again very soon.

Julie xx
