Daffodil Gelli Plate Cards (by Marga)

Hello all, what great shows Lesley has given us in the past few weeks. I have made two cards with the stamps that Lesley used on the 16th February shows on Hochanda. These two cards are made with the Gelli plate and Distress Ink. I used stamps from the Spring Bird Daffodil stamp sheet for these two cards. I coloured the daffodil flowers with the same colours as I have used in the backgrounds that I made with the Gelli plate.

For the green card I used the colours:

Twisted Citron, Crushed Olive, Squeezed Lemonade.

For the orange card I used the colours:

Crushed Olive, Forest Moss, Fossilized Amber, Ripe Persimmon.

Hugs Marga.

  3. Beautiful cards Marga, I particularly like the colours you've used on the orange card. You have inspired me to get my gelli plate out of the cupboard and start using it again.

  6. What a great idea Marga to use the gelli plate to make backgrounds for your gorgeous Daffodils. I love the faux stitching round the outside edges and the circles which look fabulous. x
