Hi folks, here's another offering from me using the new stamps from Chocolate Baroque. I wanted to recreate a sprig of lavender or heather using the little spray stamp included in the Dusky Damask stamp plate. I stamped the image onto vellum and white card several times, using several different shades of purple and lilac, embossing some with clear embossing powder. I cut them all out, leaving a border aroung the edges.
I made a background for my card using Distress Stains and water, and then stamped over the top using a stamp from the Texture Fragments stamp plate. I added a purple bow around the flower spray, and used a lovely sentiment from the Pretty Poppies stamp plate, which I stamped onto mount board. I used triple embossing to give a tiled effect to the oval. I also stamped the shape with the crackle stamp from the Echoes of Italy stamp plate to give an aged feel to the background.
Keep checking back to see what my Team Mates have created with these lovely stamps. Thanks for stopping by, Judith xx
Very pretty, I love the 'misty' background.

Super with all the layering of stamps for the background & I love the classy combination of green with purple - the bow just finishes it beautifully (managed to stop myself typing "ties it together".
