The Cameo & Dusky Damask

Hello, All!  Welcome to Chocolate Baroque!  I hope you'll enjoy your visit, and please leave some love in the comments section!  We love to hear from you!  Now for my project -

I believe this beautiful stamp has been discontinued, but I am posting this card because I used the new Dusky Damask stamp being spotlighted, on the inside.  What beautiful stamps in this new set!

This is the Dusky Damask set!

I stamped the pretty lady on white cardstock, and "aged" her with distress ink.  I used the new Spellbinders die set Floral Ovals, some gimp, pearls, lace, trim and punched flowers to enhance the image.  The crowning piece was the white background embossed with the "Fan", Anja-style stencil, and cutting out the "windows" so that the DCWV Linen Closet designer paper could peek through.

I hope you'll visit the main Chocolate Baroque website by clicking here!  You will be in Chocolate heaven!  Please come back often as our wonderful design team gals continually post new and beautiful projects for your inspiration and enjoyment!  Thanks, and please come again!

  2. This is wonderful Clare, so very vintage and gorgeous. I love the pretty soft honey colours. The frame and lady stamped in black just pop. The pretty flowers, lace and everything compliment this image beautifully. I'm sure I have this pretty lady stamp. I'll need to go find her now to check if I'm right. Too many pretty stamps now to remember them all.

  4. the colours are very striking together & I love the way you've embellished the traditional cameo shape. She's idea for the cameo. With your beads & that lace she looks very fine indeed.
