Fragment background with Couture Lady (by Debbie)
Sometimes you just need to play with the goodies that you have in your stash. I was off work last week and gathered a hand full of inkpads, card, paper, new stamp from the texture fragments and my favourite Julie Nutting Couture Lady stamp.
For the background I blended Squeezed Lemonade, Mown Lawn and Peacock Feathers then over stamped with the stamp from Abstract Fragments with Peacock Feathers. I added a few foliage stamps along the bottom to ground the doll. The lady was stamped onto white card and coloured with copic pens and dressed by paper piecing paper. Colouring white flowers is ideal to be able to match the colours used for the background, I sprayed with Dylusion Inks.
Thanks for stopping by

Wow! Stunning colours and stunning background for this -all dressed up lady-!
ReplyDeleteThis is a lovely card. The lady and the zingy coloured background with the foliage is pretty, but the addition of the fragment just adds another dimension which finishes it off beautifully.
ReplyDeleteThat is beautiful. The colours are gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful card I love the colours you have used

ReplyDeleteShe looks absolutely stunning & I love how she's standing on the bottom. Your foliage stamps on the bottom with the aqua colour makes it look as if there's a stream that she's walking by. Again the foliage stamps are echoed by your die-cut leaves & that flower almost looks like a sun in the sky (think it's that touch of blue behind it).
