Hello everyone ! I hope you are having a great January.
I have another Buddha Lady from the gorgeous new Serenity A5 set.
The background is Turquoise Dylusions Ink over stamped with various images from Tranqulity, Serenity, Wisteria Lane, and the bubble edge from Decorative Edges with
Peacock Feathers and Picked Raspberry Distress Inks and highlighted with Prisma Pencils. The background landscape behind the Buddha
is sponged Distress Inks using ripped paper and a circle cut-out. The
fantastic sentiment is from Words of Inspiration.
I
cut the Buddha out (removed the structure she was in), coloured with
Prisma Pencils and popped up her up. I added some glitter to her lotus
seat.
Thanks for visiting and have a great day,
Shirley

ReplyDeleteExcellent and gorgeous. can see all the work gone into this and the background is brilliant as it brings in your focal image which still stands proud which looks lovely on it's own x
ReplyDeleteAnother great card with the new stamps! Love the colours you used behind the Boeddha!
ReplyDeleteWhat a darling card. I love your bg, and the way you cut out your buddah and popped her.
ReplyDeleteAnother stunning card. Love the background and the use of other CB stamps to create the complete card.
ReplyDeleteso very beautiful - the colours are stunning - love this x
ReplyDeleteThis is just delightful, and I love the way you have overstamped the background with some of the elements, and the Wisteria and the Bubble Decorative Edge mix in beautifully. The scenic background you have given the main image is gorgeous, and I especially like the colour you have used for the cut-out behind the Buddha which stands out perfectly. So pretty!
ReplyDeleteThis is a lvely card

That's some matching of the ribbon with the sun & the detail on the lotus seat & I love the way you used the bubble background from the Decorative Edges. The Wisteria Lane foliage provides a lovely backdrop & frame combined with the foliage from Tranquility & I particularly like the hazy effect you achieved with the overstamping of the lanterns & your Prisma Pencil highlighting. Her pale blue garments really stand out beautifully against all the other colours & I absolutely love whatever it is you have done with her hair.
