Serenity (posted by Claire)

Good morning, Claire here with a card made using one of the beautiful new stamps 'Serenity'

I've coloured the image with Graph'It markers and layered it up over a gold embossed image. The backing paper is from the Prima Firefly pad, stamped with one of the Gothic Fragments and embossed with gold. I've edged the paper with a gold krylon pen

thank you for visiting today

  1. What a great design Claire. I love the way you have nested the image in the gothic arch and framed with those gothic fragments, what a lovely idea, I love those stamps. Vibrant colouring on the figure too. Elaine x

  4. Striking use of the spires from Gothic Fragments to echo the detail of her hair decoration plus the pointed apex of the aperture within which she is sitting. There's real opulence with your use of the gold. The deep pink outlining of the aperture's inner count ours echoes the swirl of the Firefly paper beautifully. A very striking & interesting use of stamps & colours. I've ust caught sight of the way the pale background of the aperture (window) contrasting with the darker patterned paper really gives a real sense of depth & looking in.

  6. I do love the rich and intense colour palette you have used, and the background paper goes beautifully. The gothic fragments with their spire shapes embossed in gold, together with the gold edging give just the right finishing touches.
