Good morning, Claire here with a sunny card made using the beautiful new Spring Fairy stamps. I love to work with sunny spring colours so I really enjoyed making this card.
I stamped the fairy (from May Fairy) and the bird on the grass (from April Fairy) and coloured them with Graph'It markers, adding the grass by flicking the markers. I used PanPastels to add the sky to the little scene.
The background was made using distress inks in shades of yellow and green. I used the acrylic block technique and then stencilled over them using the same inks with the Crafters Workshop Punchinella Template. I stamped the delicate flourish from March Fairy around the edges. I added a some lace, gingham ribbon, paper flowers and a little bee charm from my stash to finish off and popped my design on a scalloped card blank.
I hope you're enjoying some sunshine after all the rain we've had here in the UK
Claire xx
Love the spring colours you used! Great scene! Inky greetings, Gerrina

ReplyDeletelove this Claire - gorgeous stamp and fabulous colours - must try these colours on my gelli plate xx
ReplyDeleteHer wings are just beautiful Claire & I love the way she & the bird are having a conversation. Your little bee charm adds another creaturely touch & your little cluster of flowers really helps to set the atmosphere for the little scene. The scroll border stamping adds to the wispy etherealness of the design's whole tone.
