Hi there,
Today I have the honor to show you a creation made with the new Spring birds stamps. Aren't they lovely?
I have worked with the Spring Bird Crocus and Spring bird Tulip sheet. No crocuses or tulips this time but only those lovely birds with their nests. This background was also made by my son some while ago and I did the stenciling, stamping and colouring.
Here is my card....
The white spatters are made using the Chunky white embossing enamel from Stampendous which give a lovely effect.
The word is from the Amazing Birthday clear stamp sheet.
Hope to have inspired you and keep your eye on this blog for more beautiful artwork made by the DT!
thanks for visiting and till next time,
wow just stunning love the colours!

ReplyDeleteHello Miranda!
ReplyDeleteSuch lovely images and beautiful colours!
Take care

Delightful that you could use a background which your son created. I'm always taken aback by the depth you manage to achieve with your colouring & here the detail of the two nests is striking. The deep magenta little blossoms balance the lower left background whereas the green leaves bottom left balance the top right segment of background. A quite amazing & dramatic design.

Truly beautiful.
ReplyDeleteReally beautiful colouring Miranda. A stunning combination and lovely to see another great background from your son, I think he must have inherited your eye for colour! I am wondering if you have used pencils or pens for your colouring. It certainly works perfectly. Elaine x
ReplyDeleteHi Elaine, sorry for my late response. I have used coloured pencils. Hope you are fine? xxMiranda
DeleteMagnificent .,I'm so very envious
ReplyDeleteThis is just GORGEOUS
ReplyDeleteWow Miranda, this is so vibrant and dramatic and I love the way you are not afraid to get really dark tones which add drama, but at the same time there is still such clarity to the finished piece. I love the foreground leaves with the red veins running through. What a wonderful background your son produced! x
ReplyDeleteGreat card!
ReplyDeleteWat een prachtige kaart weer! En een mooie samenwerking! Groetjes, Gerrina
ReplyDeleteThese are lovely, the colours are so rich ... they look like they could be made of velvet.
