Pretty Pink Tulips (by Debbie)

Good Morning.
It's so lovely to see the new seasons flowers appearing and these tulips are a delight to colour.
I chose soft pink as the card is a Mothers Day card I'm making for a friend to give to her Mum.

I stamped the tulips with black memento ink so I could colour with alcohol pens. I trimmed the card and mounted on pink card.
The die is rather delicate and it fell into my shopping basket at a show last year. I highlighted the embossed areas with spun sugar distress ink. The final touch was the ribbon.

Thanks for visiting
Debbie

  1. Beautiful card, love your colouring. The colour of the tulips are exactly the same as the ones I got on Mothers Day from my daughters, beautiful.

  4. Delightfully soft & with such interesting textures . The die trellis round the (part of) circle echoes the tulip heads beautIfully (or it's my wacky eyes/brain!!) & I particularly like the elegant CAS effect with the simple yet so effective inking of the die cut.
