Good morning, Claire here with a sample made using the gorgeous Spring Bird Tulip DL stamp set
I've used the tulips on this card, inking up the stamp with Peeled Paint and Worn Lipstick distress ink and stamping directly on to the card blank. I added some little flourishes and also distressed using the same colours of ink.
I used distress markers directly onto the stamp and misted with water to create the focal image which I die cut with a spellbinders die and again added some distress ink. To finish off I added some lace, ribbon, pearls and a seambinding bow topped with a little button and some twine.
Lovely card. Beautiful how you use the tulips in the background. Greetings Janny
ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty delicate card Claire. If I stamp direct onto a card blank it is a surefire certainty I will muck up! I like the way you have coloured your die cut too. Very pretty design. Elaine x
ReplyDeleteCharming. I love the shape you cut it into.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful this is a really pretty card and a great shape too

I like how effective the contrast between the more solid coloured focal image & the outline background stamping is. The echoing of your focal panel's edge with the lace is beautiful & the addition of the strip of seam binding above embellished with the pearls gives a lovely femininity.

ReplyDeleteThis is so delicate and watery Claire and love the colours you have used. The pretty shaped card is enhanced so prettily with the oval framed tulips in the centre, and the ribbon and lace are gorgeous finishing touches. x
ReplyDeleteI love the colors and the way you did the background . I'm greeting some wonderful inspiration to store I my memory bank --- unfortunately sometimes I can't remember the password to get in 😆😴😀😱
