Hello.
I hope that visitors in the UK have remembered to turn the clocks back, giving us an hour of crafting daylight during the winter months. I'm already starting to think about where my spring bulbs will pop up as I can't remember where I've planted them.
Two cards from me today showing the Exquisite Edges and Owl Edges.
I felt the first was the easier as I took inspiration from the three colours of the Distress Ink background. The palms of the stamp were coloured with red pens. The Peacock was stamped onto a spare piece of the background. I used Versamark and Black WOW powder for both.
The bulrushes from Owl Edges reminded me of a photograph my husband had taken while out walking near where we live across the pond. There was a dragonfly in the photograph and I substituted it for a fairy.
Many thanks for visiting
Debbie
Wonderful cards Debbie! Such lovely designs but my favourite is the blue one (my favourite colour) as who doesn't love a fairy. Debra x
ReplyDeleteGorgeous cards Debbie! Fabulous colour mix on the first one and the fairy looks perfect in her leafy setting.

ReplyDeleteTwo really pretty cards Debbie and I love the red and the black which is quite dramatic and then the softer blues and yellowy green of the second which is quite magical with the flying fairy. I am not keen on the clocks going back because we have lost an hour of daylight straight away and it steadily gets more dark until nearly Christmas. I do love the autumn but hate the early dusk. Still when the weather is worse it does encourage us to craft more so hurrah for that! x
ReplyDeleteBoth are beautiful, really love the first one, wonderful colours
ReplyDeleteHow lovely they are, especially the first one - the colours really zing!
