Hello again everyone, time for my second post for this month and this time I've used the pretty awesome Steampunk Butterfly set to create an MDF plaque.
I've used acrylic chalk paints, texture paste, Antiquing Cream, gilding paste and Archival Ink on the plaque with rusty metal bits raided from my stash. The fab butterfly is painted with water based metalic paints.
As always if you would like more information on how I created this project please hop over to my blog. I'll be back next Wednesday with my final project for this month and hope you can stop by.
Hugs
Lesley XX

ReplyDeleteBeautiful!
ReplyDeleteThis is gorgeous Lesley and that beautiful large butterfly stands out using the metallic paints against that more grungy background. I have just used my steampunk sea themed stamps for the first time on the challenge and although initially I wasn't sure that it was for me I have really enjoyed giving it a try and was pleased with the results, so may be tempted to get some more of the steampunk stamps in the future. x
ReplyDeleteWow! That is fabulous! You are one clever lady Mrs E. Lx
