From flowers to music by Brenda

Good morning to you all, Brenda here with some shares on my makes for the October shows on Hochanda which had a really bumper selection of stamps on them so I have tried to include most of them in my post today.

The top one started out with an acrylic paint background, texture paste added through a stencils and the colour toned down with DI's. Two die cut circles coloured with DI's again, stamped with script from Baroque Ephemera 1, fixed onto the inked panel, then stamped with CB flowers using Versafine Clair. I continued the script randomly on the background by holding the foam mounted stamp in my hand and bending it to add just sections. Then labels from that set and Baroque Ephemera 2 before mounting the whole piece onto a landscape base card.

For this one I used a shaving foam background cut into three, stamped images from The Art of Chess which is part of the Music Fanfare and Art of Chess multi buy using Versafine back and heat embossing with details clear EP.

More inky indulgence, this time onto a tag, DI Oxides on the background, texture paste in the corners, the large postcard from Ephemera 2 stamped centrally, a little pocket folded from an off cut of card fixed in place and a label added, some hessian and buttons to add to the textures and finally mounted onto a piece of corrugated card, an eyelet and seam binding.

The background of this one was created on the Gelli Plate using acrylic paints, the docket stamp from Ephemera 1 stamped onto a piece of card, part of the flower from Movie Strip Collage stamped onto a piece of vellum coloured in and placed over the docket and a frame made from die cuts.

For my final piece I repeat stamped the Violin from Music Fanfare and Art of Chess multi buy using a mixture of Versafine Clair inks and added some stencilling in the background using regular DI's.

Many thanks as always for popping in today and I hope I have provided a little inspiration.
