To create the little forest scene I used permanent red shade panpastel and black panpastel then added a little white for a misty effect. I stamped and embossed the trees with Pearl White WOW EP and then stamped again with black archival ink.
I made the flower using the large and small flower from Sunny Sunflowers, coloured with distress markers and cut out. I added Sepia glossy accents the the centre and some deep red ribbon.

A brilliant combination of backing paper, tree stamps and of course the lovely new sunflowers - clever idea.

Love the combination of the trees and sunflower Claire and the pan pastels hae given it lot of depth. Suexxx
ReplyDeleteThe deep red ribbon really draws the eye to the flower centre & I love how it pops with that yellow clustering of little florets around it. The tall trees are superbly effective with the PanPastels - really earthy.
