Flowers and Ambrosia (posted by Elaine)

This is another sample from me, using another lovely Bo Bunny collection of papers called Ambrosia.

I stanped the flowers and leaves onto different papers from the collection and decoupaged two layers for the flower. I added jewels for the centre of the flower to echo the stamped design. I added script stamping in turquoise and a sentiment in burgundy. I wanted to piece everything together like a bright, sunny patchwork quilt, just right for the lovely sunny weather we finally seem to have got!

  1. Love the patchwork quilt effect and those papers are so pretty with the sunflower centre - great stuff. No sunshine here!! Just more rain.

  4. I think your beautiful card is all the sunshine we are going to get for the time being Elaine. You did achieve the patchwork effect you wanted ...... it's so pretty and cheerful. Love the depth on the gorgeous flower too.

  5. Love the patchwork effect & the multiple layering which is so effecctive. I can't get over how brilliantly those papers echo the shape of the flower (maybe it's the other way about) but it does give the result of a "Happy Place" within the creative psyche (mine anyhow!).
