Green Harlequin by Doreen

Hello to you all, Doreen here sharing one of my samples made using the gorgeous new
I have started by inking some white card with Antique Linen Distress Ink then using Evergreen Bough stamped my background. I inked the edges with some more Evergreen Bough and then edged with Black Soot.
I die-cut a small piece of green card and stamped the flower silhouette from the July Fairy stamp sheet twice without re-inking the stamp. Finally I stamped the sentiment  and mounted it onto foam pads.

  5. A really terrific effect with the flower silhouette stamped twice without reining to create the shadow. The harlequin fragment has added a real sense of compressional movement - it reminds me of an old elevator gate…….I digress…….. anyhow I'm itching to press the top & bottom together to see if the whole design will concertina. Ahem…… The Black Soot edging to the main panel has really intensified the green superbly.

  8. This green is so pretty with the antique linen background and you have extended the fragment pattern really well. The flower from the July fairy looks great with the shadow stamping using second generation ink too. A really beautiful card. x

  12. So very, very different to Shirley's sunshine cards but equally beautiful! I love that stamped panel, the diamond part, the colours on this are gorgeous too. This would make a perfect card for a man because of the way you have stamped the images and used the colours - another inspirational project thank you for sharing your card art with us Doreen. Have a lovely weekend Karen x
