Hello to you all, I am back with another sample made from the new
stamps that have just been released for July
This was made by first masking off some of my card before sponging with Faded Jeans Distress ink, then I inked up my stamp with Cornflower Blue Archival Ink and stamped over the top.
I then removed the masking tape and stamp the Birthday Words sentiment. I used a butterfly stamp from the Harebell Butterfly sheet and decoupaged this.
I love the background of this card and of course the butterfly
ReplyDeleteY love this
ReplyDeleteThanks for the inspiration. I bought both sets of these last week and it's great to see one of them in action on your beautiful card.

ReplyDeleteOh so stunning Doreen - can't wait to get back from my hols so I can buy these xx
ReplyDeleteAdore this card. I don't know why but putting the butterfly at the bottom gives it a whole new dimension.
ReplyDeleteFabulous!

Absolutely stunning and so very elegant too! Love the colours you have used and the stamps are fabulous! Karen x
ReplyDeleteI think this fragment is probably my favourite, and the way it has been used here as a frame for the lovely sentiment, and with the added butterfly from the Harebell Butterfly set makes this a beautiful card. x
ReplyDeleteI especially like the simple elegance of using only one colour with the white & the way that the sentiment panel has 'soft' edges created by your masking rather than using a separate panel of card stock. The decoupaged butterfly straddles the sentiment panel & extends beyond the perimeter of the background panel & mats beautifully. A really classy design.
