Flowers and Christmas (by Debbie)

Good morning. I have a couple of cards today. The first uses the beautiful buttercups
from the Briar Rose Butterfly set.
The flowers are stamped with Versamark Ink, heat embossed with black powder and coloured with Alcohol Pens. I used a hexagon die set to cut out and Stormy Sky Distress Ink for the rest of the card.

I've fallen in love with these little chaps, they are so cute. The girls have previously shown how the owls stamp can be extended. I have used the owls as a single and they will be the card I use for the children at school as they are a quickie make for a smaller card.

This card shows how the smaller images from the Snowy Scenes stamps
fit well into baubles.

Many thanks for visiting
Debbie

  7. Never thought to make a hexagon shaped card before. Love that. And your other cards are really great too.

  8. A perfect trio of loveliness! The hexagon shaped card is perfect for the stamped and coloured image - it frames it beautifully! I also love the texture you have achieved on this card too!
Your Christmas cards are stunning too! I need to remind myself that I do not need any more Christmas stamps but I do love those owls and the little images on the baubles are seriously cute! Thank you for the inspirations Karen x

  10. The colours of the owl card are a lovely variation of the traditional red & green & I can see that the children will love the stockings & owls. The little scenes within the baubles are very effective - espeiocally with the way you inked each in a different colour. The way those ribbons unify the whole together with your inked edges plus the red matting is a super design feature.

  11. So many inspiring ideas in the three cards. TFS. The baubles looks fabulous. The owls are definitely going to be a fav for this Christmas and for many more to come. The first card with the frame is simply beautiful.
