Good morning. Two cards from me today.
The first is a clean and simple using the newest release stamps and a lovely verse from
Loving Sentiments. The ribbon/lace was stamped onto the cream card and the flower on another piece and cut out. I cut close to the centre which allowed me to curl the petals for dimension. I matted onto a similar blue card to the ink and fixed to the A5 base card.
The second card was made during an inky play session. I cut a piece of A4 white card into two and out came the Brusho Colours. For one piece of the card I sprinkled the Brusho lightly and spritzed with water. When dry, I distressed through sequin waste with black soot DI ink and cut to DL size. The other piece of card had a lot more Brusho on and I stamped the Sewing Room mannequin with black ink and cut out.
I stamped the mannequin from the Floral Mannequins set onto the card and placed the cut out on top.
Thanks for visiting
Debbie
I reckon these are both CAS & I have a hard time picking which I like the most. The tone-on-tone effect of using the lighter brush panel for the background & the darker one to create the body form is extremely effective. The first is a very classy classic design with beautiful balance & weight.

Gorgeous Debbie! Both cards are lovely and the textured look and colours on the second one are very effective. The sentiment on the first is one of my all time favourite CB ones and ai love the CAS design.

They both lovely :) I'm having a 'messy play' date at my home tomorrow with a couple of crafty friends - I shall have to dig out my sequin waste. Thanks for the inspiration.

ReplyDeleteI love these two elegant and pretty cards Debbie. The beautiful blue frilly lace and flower work perfectly with that great sentiment, and the second made using the brushos is very pretty. I like the way the more vibrant portion of the finished coloured card has been used for the dress form gives good contrast and is finished so well with the black soot stencilling using the sequin waste. x
ReplyDeleteLove the lightness and simplicity of the first card. Very very pretty.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful CAS card the first one; so elegant! And that second? Just how I like cards most; a little bit grungy and what great colors!
ReplyDeleteTwo fantastic cards... wow.. simple and yet so full. Thank you ever so much for sharing
