Patchwork Butterfly (by Julie)

Hello Crafters and thank you for joining us today. I have a Twist and Pop card to show you that was recently shown on Lesley's Hochanda TV shows and is made with the rather wonderful Patchwork Butterfly

After you have cut out the two pieces of card needed for this Twist and Pop project (I used a Scan N Cut file but there are plenty of free templates if you do a Google search) then this becomes a simple stamp and colour which shows off the stamp designs in all their glory

I scribbled brush markers onto a plate and then took up the colour with a damp brush to colour the designs and the blue splodgey background is made using a wet wipe and Distress ink.

Before sticking the stamped panels to the outside of the project I glued ribbon in place and then stuck the panels over the top so that the project could be tied together with a red bow.

Thank you for stopping by and please call back soon to see more Design Team inspiration.

Julie xx

  4. Very nice! I have made a few of these twist 'n pop cards myself but haven't seen one which is that shape when closed - I presume the final photo *is* showing the outside, folded card?

    1. Hello CraftyJo, yes the final photo is the twist and pop folded. If you wanted a bigger card you could stick this into a large 8" x 8" card. I used a scan n Cut file for this particular project
