Hi Folks, here's a sample using the great new clear stamps from Chocolate Baroque. I have used the Best Relative Ever stamp set and stamped one of the great little frames onto a Nestability shape that I have cut out and coloured with Pan Pastels. I stamped the frame and the sentiment with Versamark ink, and swiped over the top with more Pan Pastels. The beauty of these clear stamps is that you can get the placement exactly where you want them.
I created a background by using one of the new Prima masks available on the website, and covered this with texture paste. Once this had dried, I used Pan Pastels to create a soft background, and stamped some co-ordinating swirls in each corner. These came from the Butterfly Flourish Swirls stamp set. I added a couple of wooden butterflies and some handmade flowers to finish.

So pretty. The butterflies look lovely against the background.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Judith, I love the soft feel of this card. I've pre-ordered some of these stamps, can't wait to have a play with them.

Strikingly beautiful with the soft aqua against the yellow & I love the effect you've achieved with the texture paste. The framing with those corners is perfect with the mask pattern & I love the subtle effect of the die-cut swirly leaves.

Super card Judith, very gentle colours. Shows the versatility of the clear stamps, much easier on the placement.
ReplyDeleteThis is gorgeous Judith. Love the colours and your use of the mask with texture paste and PPs is fabulous. It's a beautiful mask too (must check that one out)!
