Birthday Bouquet (posted by Judith)

Hi Folks, I have a Birthday card to show you today, using the lovely new Mackintosh Windows/Mackintosh Beauty Multibuy stamp set. I have created a wrinkle free distress background, and stamped the rose spray from each set onto the background to create a frame for the main image. I have coloured these images with Distress markers. I stamped the main image onto a large die cut and also coloured this with markers before matting it onto black card. I have added a sentiment from the Mackintosh Sentiments stamp set.

Thanks for stopping by, Judith xx

  6. A really delightful presentation of the image so adeptly demonstrating its non-bridal use. The wreath is a real delight & shows off one of the features I love about CB - the reversing of an image. The colours are delightful & I love the bold black framing which is so evocative of the Mackintosh style.

  7. Such a pretty card, really delicate colouring and I love the shape you have chosen for the die cut for the main image. The black matting is very effective. Lovely framing with the flower stamp too, perfect placement! Elaine xxx

  9. This image is my favourite from these sets of stamps, and the idea of using one of the flowers to frame the central image is lovely, and so useful that in the sets there are a mirror imaged pair. The background is so lovely and soft, and the lady is coloured beautifully in similar tones except for the flowers which are in a slightly paler shade of those used around the edge. The idea of mounting the main image onto black card really works well and makes her stand out from the background. A lovely elegant card.
