Today we are launching two new A5 additions to our Steampunk themed range. If anyone has read Jules Verne's classic 20,000 Leagues under the Sea I am sure you will agree with me that the images of these marine creature could easily be from the pages of that book. Sue has really let her imagination loose here and has designed some wonderfully quirky, fun stamps.
The first, which is our Stamp of the Month, is Steampunk Funky Fish
swiftly follwed by Steampunk Sea World
Of course you can purchase these as our usual money saving multi-buy
These new releases mix very well with our other sea related stamp sets so that you can create your own underwater scenes. The Design Team girls have some dazzling creations waiting in the watery wings, here are a couple to get your creative juices working.
This colourful tag is from Florence, don't you just love those cute shrimps out for an afternoon swim!
And this tag by Doreen really captures the essence of the fantasy ship. I'm sure Captain Nemo would be proud to sail that!.
This is just a small selection of the brillliant inspiration you can expect to see during December. Remember to visit every day to make sure you don't miss anything and if you find time to comment too that would be excellent. It could be your name drawn at the end of the month for our £15 gift voucher. Enjoy
Great new stamps, steampunk isn't my style but I'm sure those who like steampunk will love them

These are lovely new stamps. Like Jackie I'm not sure that steampunk is my thing but I am sure there will be lots of wonderful creations coming along so maybe I will change my mind. These tags from Florence are both wonderful examples. I love the cogs stencilled in the background on the first, and the ship looks good in the blue with that touch of white on the sails. x
ReplyDeleteLovely tags, although again steam punk is not my scene
ReplyDeleteWow! Steampunk ist absolut nicht mein Ding.
ReplyDeleteAber diese Kreationen könnten mich vielleicht umstimmen.
Die Tags sind super schön. Besonders das Tag mit der Unterwasser-Szene istexcellent.
Wunderschön!

These stamps really are amazing. Thanks CB!

The new stamps look great! What a fun style for the water-stamps! And super to show 2 different styles with them!
ReplyDeleteVery different & not an aspect of steampunk that I'd thought of. My eye was really caught by Florence's shrimps & their vibrant colouring against the blue of the water. One can begin to imagine marine life making their way along the bottom of the sea midst all the cogs & bits from sunken ships - fantasy maybe but then one starts to wonder……….
ReplyDeleteDoreen's ship makes me think of ghostly vanishings & evokes the sense of gloomy endless drifting that is the fate of such ships.
