Brenda here again for more shares of work from last months Hochanda shows.
I went for a bit of bold contrast with the above creation using Flora Musica stamped onto an oval and coloured in with Koh-i-Noor paints and placed over the edge of a card. The border to the left is from Harlequin Rose, a strip of red ribbon to carry the colour of the blooms and a sentiment from my Life is so much Better inspirational quote set which featured in the show.
I have used one of Lesley's new Say it Vertically sentiment sets down the side of this one and Landscape Collage stamped in black and colour added just to the sun with matting and layering to carry that colour.
May thanks for your kind visits and words of encouragement.
Beautiful cards Brenda, love the new vertical words , must look out for them xx

Two beautiful cards, but - WOW- the first one is my favourite, it looks just amazing with this design!! Love really very much the way you used Flora Musica in the oval and then cut a part of the oval and fussy cut the floral! They pop so well and the gorgeous ancient look of the stamped border gives a very elegant look to your card!
ReplyDeleteThese two cards have lots of contrast with the red and green/black and the orange/black combinations Brenda, and love the pretty tasselled border and then the sentiment matted on the first and a lovely hanging sentiment on the second. Vibrant and beautiful cards! x
ReplyDeleteTwo beautiful cards Brenda, love the roses, so stunning in red.
