A Blue Fancy Flower (by Shirley)

Happy Weekend everyone !

I have a quick post today with a design featuring a flower from the beautiful new Fancy Flowers set.

I applied Shabby Shutters and Peel Paint Distress Inks to the background using the Acrylic Block Technique.     Next I stamped the Floral Damask Background stamp with Shabby Shutters.   When dry I stamped with a fragment from Textured Fragments and embossed with a blue glitter embossing powder.  I stamped the flower image from Fancy Flowers with black Stazon Ink and coloured with my Prisma pencils.   I used spellbinder dies for the shapes.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day,
Shirley

  5. This is rather splendid & very luscious with all the sultry green. The background is full of interest & I love how the glittery embossing echoes the shimmeriness of the ribbon.
