Shades of purple (posted by Elaine)

This is another card using the smaller flower motif from the Poppy Meadow stamp set.

The background card is lilac and I stamped the image directly onto that in plum ink before colouring with Prisma pencils. I die cut the purple layer with a curve to reflect the positioning of the stamping and added a die cut butterfly. The finishing touches were a sentiment, toning ribbons and gems.

  3. Glorious colour & I love the way that butterfly's wing extends over the curved edge. The little flower motif is echoed perfectly by the punched vine border. I particularly like the shading of the butterfly beneath the die-cut layer.
