Good morning folks, Claire here with my first sample featuring this months new stamps. I've used one of the images from Poppy Meadow for this card.
I stamped the image and coloured with Graph'It Markers before inking the edges with Peeled Paint distress ink. The background was made using various shades of green distress ink and the wrinkle free distress technique. I over stamped the background with one of the lovely border stamps from Floral Edges. I've matted the image and background on white card then red card and added some gingham ribbon to finish off.
I think these new stamps are going to be firm favourites, they are such pretty stamps. My talented team mates have some up with some beautiful projects to inspire you so keep popping by

This is a beautiful card. I have been fighting off buying yet another poppy stamp (I have quite a collection), but I knew you would all inspire me and convince me I really do NEED it! Kate x
ReplyDeleteThis is so lovely, the red poppy just pops (no pun intended) out of the card! The red is beautiful. I love the greens too.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful - thought I had enough poppy stamps but not so sure now!! Great colours and the gingham ribbon just sets it off nicely.
ReplyDeleteJust stunning! Love the way the flowers pop out of the card!
ReplyDeleteThis is lovely with your multiple matting & the simple embellishing using the gingham ribbon. The overstamping using the floral edges is very effective & really helps to draw the eye.
