Sending a bouquet.........by Miranda

Hi there,

Today it's my turn again to show you a creation made with the lovely Sketchy Doodle Landscape. And this time I have used the landscape stamp and decorated this with a lot of decoupaged flowers and leaves from the same sheet. Maybe not a very quick card but still very easy.....no techniques........only plain black stamping onto coloured scrap paper, cutting and layering. So take out your left over papers and have a go.........
Because I love to color I also played with my color pencils too. And finally added some white marker accents and pearls.
The matching sentiment is from the Mackintosh sentiments.

I was in the mood for lots of color, vibrant and joyful colors! The sun is shining here today and it's very cold. But on this card it's already Spring!

from a different angle........

and a close-up of my beautiful flower garden.........

Well, I think it will be a card for somebody who can use a little sunshine, color and warmth!

Hope to have inspired you, thanks for your visit and I always enjoy to read your comments,
till next time,

  1. Miranda that is a really gorgeous card. So bright and colourful, it certainly feels like spring and maybe you have been inspired by some of the lovely tulip colours that will light up the Netherlands soon! Makes me want to get my pencils out! Elaine x

  6. The dimension that you've coloured into this is incredible - put a box of pencils into your hands & magic happens!! Your whitework with the pearls just makes the whole piece sing & I love the way those dragonflies are placed in opposing directions adding such circular movement echoing the circular shape of the flowers & the swirls of the trees. It certainly gave me some sunshine today.

  8. It's lovely, great colouring. I really like the oval snippet you show at the top, looks like it's been done on a piece of Stampbord :)

  9. ....meant to add that I presume it's just the way you've cropped the photo and added a drop-shadow?

  12. I love the composition of this Miranda and the colours are so bright and just say 'Spring'. Your colouring with the pencils and then the added white pen and pearls is just wonderful. The two dragonflies frame that sentiment perfectly and the placing of the flowers naturally brings you eye back in to the centre. x
