I was so excited when I saw the two brand new additions to the Doodle Stamp Sets in Chocolate Baroque's range. These are such great stamps to have in your stash. If you are not familiar with the Doodle Stamp Sets do check out the other stamps in the store here.
The stamps are so versatile and can be used in all of your art and craft projects. They stamp great onto wood, fabric and card. They are fabulous for journaling and mixed media projects. You are only really limited by your imagination with these stamps.
Wedding Anniversary Card
Images stamped onto Pearlescent card using Archival Ink.
When I received the stamps and cut them out, I started to think, Ok, I
know what these stamps can do...I can stamp with them using ink and paints, use
embossing powders and glitters, use different techniques to achieve
great effects like the resist technique ( which these are perfect for)
but I wanted something else... what about embellishments!
Mothers Day Card
Card stock colored with Distress Inks and then the images stamped in Archival Ink.
The stamped images are perfectly sized for Scrap Booking and Memory Album Making. The designs on the stamps make them very easy to fussy cut around. The stamped images are ideal for make embellishments for your projects and you can then choose the colors to suit you and the projects you are working on.
They are just beautiful classic designs which will take you from the 50's to present day, especially as Retro is very much in fashion.
Thank you for looking.
Take care

Two lovely cards
ReplyDeleteTwo great designs Florence. The anniversary card is really original and the grouping and colouring of the images on pearlescent is lovely. The second card is lovely and bright. A great example of how the images can be fussy cut. the shaping of your matting layers to match the design is really clever and perfectly completes a super card. Elaine
ReplyDeleteTwo lovely projects, tfs :)
ReplyDeleteThese are both gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteBoth cards are very nice with the new stamps. Greetings Janny
ReplyDeleteTwo beautiful ways of using these new stamps Florence. I love the anniversary card using a photo as the central image is a wonderful idea, and the second a profusion of flowers in wonderful colours on those pretty blue and white layers with the lovely punched corners and also a different shape to the card. So gorgeous! x
ReplyDeleteBeautiful cards Florence. The wedding one is so unique. The lady in the photo is beautiful and showcasing with the stamps is an awesome idea.
ReplyDeleteYour Mother's Day card is gorgeous too. Love all the bright colours and layering.
Thank you everyone for your visit and for your lovely comments. Always great to have your company. Have a great weekend.

Super illustrations of what these stamps can be used for, both for the scrapbooker & the cardmaker. In the first I particularly like the way you colour choices complement the neutral tones of the vintage photo. Your second sample is a striking contrast with its brilliant colours, again superbly complemented by your bold matting incorporating the white as a background foil for the images.. As Elaine remarks above your detailed corners cleverly echo the shapes of the stamped images.
