Sketchy Flowers

Hello to you all, I am sharing a sample made from the new stamps
that have just been released for February

"Sketchy Doodle Flowers"

I started by inking my card with Distress inks Spiced Marmalade, Broken China and Picked Raspberry, then  sprayed some water through a circle stencil and after a few seconds dabbed it with some tissue . I then lightly stamped one of the flower images in the background and  stamped my main image with Black Arcival ink.
Using some distress inks I then coloured in some of the leaves. Last of all came the sentiment, from the Mackintosh clear sentiment set.xxx

  1. A great card Doreen. I love the soft background with the circles bleached out. The choice of the font of the sentiment compliments the stamp you have chosen beautifully. Elaine

  5. The stencilled spots echo he round circular berries of the focal image superbly & I particularly like the subtle effect of the floral background stamping. The Mackintosh sentiment is a perfect match for these images.
