Hello to you all, I am sharing a sample made from the new stamps
that have just been released for February
"Sketchy Doodle Flowers"
I started by inking my card with Distress inks Spiced Marmalade, Broken China and Picked Raspberry, then sprayed some water through a circle stencil and after a few seconds dabbed it with some tissue . I then lightly stamped one of the flower images in the background and stamped my main image with Black Arcival ink.
Using some distress inks I then coloured in some of the leaves. Last of all came the sentiment, from the Mackintosh clear sentiment set.xxx
A great card Doreen. I love the soft background with the circles bleached out. The choice of the font of the sentiment compliments the stamp you have chosen beautifully. Elaine
ReplyDeleteLove the background - it mirrors the berries of the plant
ReplyDeleteLove it! I've pinned it for inspiration :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful how you use the colors on the card. Janny
ReplyDeleteThe stencilled spots echo he round circular berries of the focal image superbly & I particularly like the subtle effect of the floral background stamping. The Mackintosh sentiment is a perfect match for these images.
