Fairy Castle by Zoe

Good morning Lovelies, today I'm sharing with you two of my samples from the wonderful Fairy sets that were featured on Hochanda recently, I hope you managed to tune in?

My first card is watercolour card. I started by heat embossing the beautiful Palace in white embossing powder, I then wet the card and added Brusho's in various colours, I added more water and manipulated the crystals with a paintbrush gently so the colours didn't merge to much, once it was dry I used a very fine line black marker down one side of each image to create some depth

My second card is Linen textured card and Pan Pastels. I started by using a stencil to create my Blue moon, I stamped onto it with stencil still in place using Versamark ink and then gently applied silver Pan Pastel, I then covered my moon with a mask and used blues, pinks and purples in lighter shades for the sky. I used torn paper to create my hills in various greens, I created a halo and clouds around the moon with a pencil eraser before spraying with cheap hairspray to set the Pastels. I coloured the Palace with pencils, added some glitter glue gel to the fairy wings, the foliage framing the top is from the bird on a branch from the set and the bottom foliage is from the top of the tree with a moon.

I hope you like my creations, I loved making them and it's such a thrill seeing them on tv.
I'll be back later this month, be sure to check out my fabulous teamies creations.
Gave a great day xx Zoe xx

  1. Love these ... but the top one is stunning xxx

  2. Beautiful cards, but the first one is so gorgeous.

  3. Two fabulous cards Zoe, and I love the interesting use of white embossing and Brushos in lovely bright colours, and the pretty scene you have created with the Pan Pastels using the palace and the sweet silhouette fairy. x

  4. Two adorable scenes, love the colours!!

  5. \Love them both, what fabulous designs and gorgeous colours Zoe, Kate x

  6. Wow! Love them both, your use of brushos is wonderful.

  7. Two lovely cards. The first one has an almost dream like quality to it and the sencond one is crystal clear. I like the sense of perspective on the second with the castle sat in the background, great colours too. Sandra x
