Distressed Effect Cacti (by Julie)

Hello, today I have a card made with the fantastic newly released Captivating Cacti

This image was simply inked up with Onyx Black Versafine and stamped onto white stamping card. I added colour with polychromus, coloured pencils and then polished the finished design with a soft cloth. The polishing helps to blend the colours and creates the light background that surrounds the cactus. I then dry-brushed black gesso around the edges and when dry added white paint pen to create the scratched look.

The finished image was mounted onto green card-stock before adding to an A5 card blank.
