Wishing you Love by Doreen

Hello to you all. Today I am sharing a card made using one of the beautiful new stamps from 
 "Briar Rose Butterfly" stamp sheet. 


I first painted my card with Blue and white Acrylic paint,then inked up my image with Black Versafine Ink,  using Acrylic paints I proceeded to colour it. After this I used some Shaded Lilac Distress ink through a stencil and edged with Black Soot Distress ink. 
The sentiment is from the Birthday Words stamp sheet again inked up with Black Versafine.

    Und ganz besonders gefällt mir auch der tolle Hintergrund mit den Bienenwaben in verschiedenen Blautönen.

    Love your painted background and I am amazed at your colouring painting with acrylics, so neat, mine would be all over the place! A great card - the ribbon across the corner like that is great - makes me think of an old fashioned box of chocolates! Elaine

    I love the way those little white rose embellishments really bring out the white colouring of your stamped flowers. The rusty reddish brown butterflies contrast beautifully with the blues & mauves of the background. The polka dot ribbon helps bring out the spotted pattern on the butterflies' wings too.

    This is lovely, and the painted background in those gorgeous colours works perfectly with the stencilling over the top, and also the flower painted that lovely bright white makes it stand out beautifully. I love the pretty ribbon with the button and the added little rosebuds, and the dark edge brings the images forward perfectly. x
