The Miracle of Christmas (By Corine)

Our guest designer this month is Corine and she has set us up with this delightful bright coloured Christmas card which would look good on any mantlepiece. Loving the combination of colours.

Hello!

Here I am again. In December I will post three times a card as guest designer. I am very pleased to do this. My first project is a card with a Distress Oxide Spray background.

1. Make a background on watercolour paper with two colors Distress Oxide Spray (Broken China and Picked Raspberry). Use a waterspray to mix the colors. Allow the paper to dry well.
2. Sponge with Distress Oxide ink Broken China through a stencil in the top left and bottom right corners. Stamp with Distress Oxide ink Faded Jeans and Seedless Preserves the stars and ornament. Let dry.
3. Stamp on a piece of paper the text with black ink. Sponge the paper and cut it. Adhere on your card.
4. Stamp the Christmas bauble on watercolour paper with Archival Dusty Concord. Colour with watercolour markers. Use glitter to add highlights on the bauble. Cut out and adhere on the card. Finish with a bow.

Hope you enjoy.

Kind regards,
Corine van Kuilenburg

Such an appealing card and really zingy colours to brighten the festive season.  Corine will be back next week with another beautiful creation, can't wait to see what's next.
