Hello. I'm sharing some of my samples from the May shows on The Craft Store.
These cards feature stamps from the Bookmark range of stamps
For this card I used some alcohol inks applied with a felt applicator onto some silk art board. I used shades of blue and purple with some gold. When it was dry I used my stamping platform to stamp the Turret House in Black Versafine. Whilst the ink was wet I added some embossing powder. I left the stamp in place on my platform and coloured the turrets in gold paint. The paint covered the embossed areas, so I put the card back into the stamping platform and was able to stamp and emboss again. I added a sentiment from Life is So Much Better, a layer of gold card and attached to a 8x8 card base.
For this card I used two shades of yellow Distress Ink and a Sunshine stencil for my background. I added a little bit of green ink to the bottom of the card. I stamped the larger of the two trees from Design a Tree –Orchard and added flowers in pink ink.
I stamped the house onto some smooth cardstock with Memento ink and coloured with alcohol markers and then cut it out. I then used some foam pads to fix the house onto the card base.
For this card I used a design paper from a pad that had an old style map on it.
I stamped the Bridge House in the lower corner and embossed the image. I extended the hills and river part of the stamp to fill the base of the card and then coloured with watercolour inks. I added a sentiment from the set.
I used Distress Oxides for my background on this card. I stamped the House in Versafine and then masked it before stamping the tree. I added flowers to the tree in shades of pink and coloured the house with watercolour pencils.
Thanks for looking
